After years of rejection, financial struggles, and hard work, the 29-year-old striker is finally enjoying his breakthrough on football’s grandest stage.

Those sacrifices eventually paid off when he joined Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise in 2020. His prolific goal-scoring performances earned him a move to Brighton & Hove Albion before he rediscovered his best form at VfB Stuttgart.
At Stuttgart, Undav flourished. His outstanding Bundesliga campaign established him as one of Germany’s most consistent forwards and earned him a place in Julian Nagelsmann’s World Cup squad.
Although he began the tournament as a substitute, Undav has made every minute count. His impact from the bench has made him one of the most effective players at the World Cup, with multiple goals and assists in limited playing time. His performances have also strengthened calls for him to start Germany’s knockout matches.
