Thousands of Devotees Gather in Malda for Adinath Shiva Puja

Massive Turnout for Rudrabhishek Ceremony

Devotees from Malda and neighbouring districts began arriving early in the morning to participate in the special worship. Priests performed Vedic rituals, Rudrabhishek and the consecration of the Shivling as devotees offered milk, water, flowers and bel leaves to Lord Shiva.

Authorities deployed a heavy police force around the venue to maintain law and order. Security arrangements were strengthened because the ceremony (Adinath Shiva Puja) took place close to the historic Adina Mosque, an area considered sensitive.
