Ram Kapoor Shreya Kalra Controversy
Cloud TV Entertainment Desk : A fresh controversy has erupted on Netflix’s reality show Lock Upp 2 after contestant Shreya Kalra accused actor Ram Kapoor of crossing personal boundaries during the show.
Speaking to fellow contestant Shilpa Shinde after a leadership task, Shreya expressed disappointment with Ram Kapoor and alleged that he often came too close during interactions. She also said that if he tried to kiss her again, she would stop him, adding, “Even my dad doesn’t kiss me this much.”
The comments referred to an earlier episode in which Ram Kapoor kissed Shreya on the forehead and cheek after she won a task that secured his safety for the week. That moment had already sparked criticism from some viewers online.
Shreya also claimed that Ram should “maintain some boundaries,” alleging that he often invaded contestants’ personal space during conversations. Her remarks quickly went viral, triggering intense debate across social media platforms.
Amid the controversy, Ram Kapoor’s wife Gautami Kapoor defended him, saying that he is naturally affectionate and would never intentionally behave inappropriately. She argued that fellow contestants would have objected immediately if his conduct had truly crossed the line.
Neither Ram Kapoor nor the makers of Lock Upp 2 have issued a detailed official response to Shreya’s latest remarks.
