The Lonavala Rural Police have temporarily closed Lohagad Fort to facilitate the ongoing investigation. Authorities are reconstructing the crime scene and collecting evidence after alleging that Siya Goyal and her alleged accomplice, Chetan Chaudhary, planned the murder of Ketan Agarwal. The accused deny wrongdoing, and the case remains under investigation before the courts.
Investigators are examining CCTV footage, digital evidence, witness statements, and forensic findings to establish the sequence of events surrounding the incident.
