Cloud TV Desk : Delhi Police has initiated action against several X (formerly Twitter) accounts over posts allegedly containing abusive content directed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the recent CJP protest. Officials said they reviewed posts, videos and comments circulating on social media and identified content that could violate existing laws. Notices have been served asking users to remove the posts and cooperate with the investigation.
The action follows the CJP demonstration at Jantar Mantar, which generated significant online discussion across multiple platforms. According to police, some users crossed the line between political criticism and content considered abusive or unlawful. Authorities said the notices are part of an ongoing investigation and further legal action will depend on the outcome of the inquiry. Reports indicate that officials are examining content across multiple social media platforms, not only X.
