Cloud TV Desk: Fresh tensions have emerged around the long-disputed Bhojshala–Kamal Maula complex in Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar district after a recent court decision intensified public attention on the issue. With concerns over law and order ahead of Friday prayers, authorities significantly increased security measures across the area.
At the center of attention is a viral video featuring Dhar Superintendent of Police Sachin Sharma, who delivered a firm warning while addressing the public from a police vehicle. In the video, he warned potential troublemakers against attempting to violate the law or disturb public order.
His statement, widely circulated online, carried a clear message that the administration was fully prepared to deal with any attempts to create unrest and that strict action would be taken against violators.
According to officials, authorities are focused on ensuring that activities at the site remain within the framework of court orders and existing legal guidelines. The administration has reportedly held multiple discussions with representatives from different communities in an effort to maintain peace and avoid escalation.

The Bhojshala issue has been a subject of legal and religious dispute for years. Since 2003, an arrangement overseen by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) had allowed Hindu worship on Tuesdays and Muslim prayers on Fridays at the site. However, recent legal developments have renewed debates surrounding the structure’s historical and religious status.
The matter remains legally sensitive, and different groups continue to pursue their claims through judicial channels. Reports suggest that appeals and legal challenges regarding the site are still ongoing.
