Susan Dell and Dell Technologies CEO Michael Dell appeared with US President Donald Trump in the Oval Office to highlight their financial commitment to the Trump Accounts programme. The discussion that followed online, however, focused largely on Susan Dell’s appearance, facial expressions and hand movements rather than the stated purpose of the event.
Eligible children born between 2025 and 2028 can receive a $1,000 government seed deposit in an investment account under the programme. Michael and Susan Dell have pledged billions of dollars to support the initiative. Susan Dell encouraged parents and grandparents to ensure that their children and grandchildren claim their accounts.
After the White House appearance, social media users commented on Susan Dell’s facial expressions, mannerisms and overall demeanour. Some speculated about possible cosmetic procedures or aesthetic treatments. The discussion had circulated online for several months, including a Reddit post about her appearance that went viral in July. The phrase “Mar-a-Lago face” was also linked to some of the online discussion.
Social media speculation does not establish whether Susan Dell has undergone any cosmetic procedure. Neither Susan Dell nor her representatives have publicly confirmed the claims.
During the appearance, Trump joked that he would give Susan Dell his “complete and total endorsement” if she entered politics. Much of the subsequent online conversation nevertheless centred on her appearance and mannerisms rather than the Trump Accounts programme.
